6 1-run SEC losses. That hurts. Mainieri has always been more of a tournament coach than a regular season coach, so knowing how good this team CAN be (CSF), I wouldn't want to face them in the postseason. The problem is that the way things are falling, LSU is really in a bad position to make the SECT.

Even if LSU manages to win this series, they are still 1 game out of 8th place at best, with a trip to top 5 Vandy next week.
