This game is big for LSU. LSU needs quality wins more than anything. With the CSF sweep and a win tonight against a possible regional hosting team, there is an outside chance LSU could get a regional spot without making the SECT. Remember that in 2006 LSU made the SECT and won a game (against a very high ranked Alabama) but did not make a regional. Mississippi State did not make the SECT, but made a regional.
