Well after the way they came back on LSU last year, and the way they can hit 3s when they get hot it is a bit unreasonable to take offense at the 6 minute mark. Well, unreasonable if you don't factor in the gender thing I guess and that is about as far as I will go in that direction...

I would not doubt if she started something with Pokey just to rile her team for when the game will matter....in the dance. KMR told that he-she Rebecca Lobo at half that this game means nothing to her as it is out of conference......think she was slighting a very pumped LSU team looking for revenge from last year?
I saw that as well. I think Kim told Pokey that she didn't appreciate the Lady Tigers kicking the National Champs ass like they did on national television. :hihi: Pokey did the right thing.... she kept her cool. Ch 2 or Ch 9 might mention that tonight. Will probably be on sports talk shows tomorrrow. Bottom line....Lady Tigers didn't just win tonight, they DOMINATED!
I wondered why Pokey did not shake hands with anyone else after the spoke to KMR. Usually she would talk to the other team's assistants players too. This time she pretty much headed to the locker room right away, but was grabbed by the tv crew for an interview before she made it to ther tunnel. From espn.com:
i said on the other board that i truely beleive that pokey said something out of line before the game or she would have told the media what was said in the press conference after the game.
Re: I logged in to see if anyone else saw that... hahah. Wait till tomorrow. The stories won't be about LSU whooping Baylor - they are going to be about the drama between the 2 coaches. They've apparently never gotten along & pokey made a comment to her about it before the game. After the game, Baylor's coach had a remark to Pokey & things just progressed from there.
Re: I logged in to see if anyone else saw that... WWL-TV said they exchanged words before the game about the recruiting of Allison Hightower. Texas phenom, it came down to LSU and Baylor and we got her. KMR may have been questioning our recruiting techniques.
