  1. That sucks and its not just because its Toonces. They should have made one with an "LSU" along the pick guard ala Stevie Ray Vaughan's "SRV". I would have bought it in a heartbeat even if its a cheapo Epiphone.
  2. You have to really love LSU to buy that thing. Or really love music. Or any combination of the two.
  3. I love both, but I wouldn't buy that guitar. I played one at guitar center (well a non-lsu one) and it's, in a word, sh!t. The ugly logo makes it even better!
  4. I'd just as well get a LSU sticker from Tiger Mania and stick it to my Strat.
  5. Guys, I gotta ask you, why is that (ugly) tiger called toonces?
    I just have no idea. Enlighten me.
  6. I've wondered the same thing and SURELY this is not the answer but all I could find. I hope someone can tell me there is no relation.

  7. Pretty sure his name was given to him from message board chatter. I don't think the logo tiger has an official name.
  8. Toonces is not the official name. The name was taken from the SNL skit mentioned above as a joke because it's suck a terrible logo.
