  2. Dave, I can tell you this from first hand experience.

The fans in Morgantown were, for the most part, very welcoming and hospitable. We set up a tailgate in the purple lot with three tents, and at least 20% of the folks tailgating with us were WVU fans. 90% of the passers-by told us "Welcome to Morgantown". Then they would stop and talk about the game, weather, whatever.

With that said, there's the other 10%. The ******* punks that not only verbally harassed us, but would literally block our path into the stadium, and if we tried to walk thru anyway, they had no reservations about putting their hands on us trying to stop us. To that I say this...

They should've stationed someone outside to keep the LSU Football out of the stadium. Then maybe your team wouldn't have gotten their asses handed to the tune of a 4 TD beatdown in your own house.

See how that works? It only takes a few *******s to paint an entire fanbase a certain way. Now, I know better...the *******s in front of the stadium on the path to the east gate don't truly represent the entire WVU fanbase. I only know better because I spent a couple of days in your great and beautiful state and never had one problem with anyone outside of the few *******s on the way in, even though I wore LSU clothing 100% of the time I was in your state. Today on the way out of your state, the guy manning the last toll booth before we hit VA stated he should charge us double...then corrected himself and stated he should pay US to leave...after the beatdown of the Eers...

WVU fans should be proud of the way your team played last night, never giving up. I truly thought at the end of the first half, with LSU getting the ball first, that we were about to blow WVU away. Instead, after we dropped a sure TD pass and missed a FG, you guys marched right down the field, and within no time, you guys were within 6 points of us. The kickoff return for a TD stopped the amazing comeback, but I was impressed with the all out effort of the Mountaineers.

Now geaux win the Big East!!
  3. To which you replied that you would appreciate the money back for having wasted it on tolls, something we don't do in La., the Crescent City Connection and Causeway notwithstanding. lol, in all seriousness, once that dude put his hands on you, that was likely an assault and battery issue and the numbnut should have been arrested or at least escorted off the property by stadium security. Ridiculous. We all have some idiot fans, but I am sorry to hear of this. The good fans are good. Too bad the other ones, if there are enough of them, tend to ruin it for the rest of them.
  4. One way might be to stop booing college players who are injured.

WVU had a chance on national TV to make a positive statement about the state of it's team and it's fans and you guys blew it. BAD. Also the other reports of LSU fans being attacked, and even a pregnant woman getting bruised and beat up. If true, I have less respect now for WVU than I did before the game.

No, not everyone I'm sure is as bad as those fans depict and I feel sorry that they have to suffer for such piss poor behavior of others. Still, I couldn't think of a better place for your Silence of the Lambs Head Coach.

  6. That's ugly. I missed that photo. That kind of crap sends me through the roof. We all said after the storm, "you are either with us, or against us. You are either part of the solution, or part of the problem." Words that I'll live by for the rest of my life. As for the 1863 reference, my city predates them by well over 100 years, so whatever....and my family got here in the 1700s as well. All of you know my family. All of you.
  7. You sure it wasn't that mouth of yours?
  8. The WVU coach is a real piece of work. I will say this, opposing coaches do get very angry and frustrated watching our Tigers put the beat down on their squad. I mean, didn't you watch film? What did you think LSU was going to do?

  9. Positive. I didn't utter a word. By the way, I'm pretty sure we've never met...or spoken...:insane:

It was funny though. Some lady, a WVU fan, stopped us before we got to them. She was VERY concerned for our safety...dead serious. But it was how she described it that was funny. Her words..."They're really 'heckling' LSU fans pretty bad up there". We were like, "NO...NOT HECKLING!!" But now I see what she meant...they were pure *******s. But like I said, it was only right as we were going into the stadium.
  10. Not really, their roads are infinitely nicer than LA roads. I would gladly pay $4 or $5 bucks to pass from one side of LA to the other on a decent road. And you must not go to Grand Isle/Fourchon much...
