It is difficult to win on the road in the SEC. But I think we can take State and Carolina.

Wins -- McNeese, State, Syracuse, E. Michigan, S. Carolina, Florida, W. Kentucky, A&M

    Home toss-ups -- Auburn, Arkansas

Road losses -- Alabama, Ole Miss.
So we finish between 8-4 and 10-2. I'll call it 9-3 . . . revise it up if a quarterback emerges, down if one doesn't.

I really like Red's evaluation categories and think that his overall 9-3 is a reasonable prediction, but...

    > I'm more optimistic with both the Alabama and the Ole Miss games. These two are "road" toss-ups. We're due to beat Alabama and often play them strong at their place. We won't lose two in a row to Ole Miss.

    > But less optimistic with both S. Carolina & Florida and would not call either of these sure wins.

Let's hope Harris improves, stays healthy and Cam's back in the limelight. Then, my call would be a stout defense and much improved offense has LSU undefeated through the Alabama game, but an exhausted and banged up Tiger team get's edged by Arkansas only to bounce back and beat both Ole Miss and A&M for a one loss regular season.

Shane, I'd throw up some picks but I've not kept up with who's returning what in the SEC. Hell, we don't even know who are starting QB is going to be. Without knowing anything, it would be just that, a guess. Just not my style.

@tirk started the thread, no one is going to hold you to it, reach down, grab a hold of whatever you can find and make a damn prediction. Geez, not that difficult.

The Minions get an argument advantage in September but the Pumpers recover lost ground in October. Another loss to Alabama and marginal wins in November leave us at a debate stalemate yet again.
