QB will be open for all comers in the fall. RP has to take it away from the sophomores. He won't just be made the starter. Russell was a Parade All-American, too, but with two years SEC experience. Can Clausen keep his job at Tennessee? Everybody liked him here but he just couldn't get in the top three.
When the Hawkeyes were picked early on for the CapOne, we spent a lot of time waiting to see who the SEC would deliver as the opponent. Some of our fans wanted it to be Tennessee... not because we thought you'd be easy to beat or anything that mundane... but because earlier in the year we had voted one of your players as having the best name in college football. And the winner was..... Jim Bob Cooter, one of your back-up QB's. He won in a landslide, btw!!!!! What a name!!
