LSU Groom's Cake

My wife is a professional cake decorator here in Memphis, and this is the cake she did for my brother's wedding in BR two weeks ago...

Is she a pastry chef? I was a baker for several years, but No professional pastry training. I wish I could do that...very impressive !!! :thumb:.

 

I had an LSU cake for my grooms cake, but nothing like that. That is amazing

 

Pretty sweet cake.

My groom's cake was the Tiger Band shako (hat). Came out pretty nice.

 

Yeah she is basically a pastry chef as she was trained by one 10 years ago.

She made the helmet with styrofoam so my brother could keep it for awhile :thumb:

 

I would marry that cake.

 

love this cake! i am in memphis and actually googled "lsu grroms cake" and this came up. i need a cake just like this for our wedding next year. is this something she might be willing to do?

 

Getting married next year...I will pay her to do me a similar one. Where are y'all located at?
