Twitter is blowing up with reports from several sources that Alleva/LSU is formulating a plan for a potential quick hire by next weekend. While Herman and Fisher are the top choices, a few others: Fedora, Holgorsen, Fuente, Gundy, and MacIntyre have been mentioned as possibilities as well.

Orgeron is supposed to meet with Alleva Friday, but it seems to me this administration is all in on Fisher, and apparently there is some interest there. Guess we'll know by end of this coming week.

In my opinion, it's Orgeron or Fisher.

This is rumor. The only hire they will announce that early would be Coach O. No other coach currently employed is going to announce they are leaving their school until season ends. Not one credible coach will do that...and if we find one that does we are really screwed!

I think the article on ATVS by Poseur about Jimbo is very good. Basically he is saying; Jimbo's good, but not great, and likely not worth the price. That's where I am also. It will take us 4 years to find out we're incrementally better than we are now.
