book it. let's revel in it. it doesnt happen everyday and surely it makes up for the times we felt we deserved to be higher. embrace it. they're gonna make us proud, i promise you. no other teams deserve it anymore than us. its all perception and BS but when you're there you can take full advantage and i think we will. we can adjust and improve and surely put our talent on display and prove we deserve it. none of this ranking stuff is static and its definitely not an exact science. LSU can develop itself into its ranking and by year's end we will be where we need to be. LSU has the talent of a top 3 team. somethng tells me this kook of a HC will find a way to show it....even on defense. just remember all these other teams you perceive are so much better and deserve a higher ranking is nothing more than perception. we have the talent and we deserve it. we only have to make the right adjustments.
I hope your right, it worries me because our defense wasn't in the same area code at times. Its also not easy having to score 30 points a game to get the "w". I love watching these kind of games as a non fan of those teams, it is fun then. If your a fan of a team that scores 30 points a game to win that would be not fun and very difficult. I am still optimistic, hoping next game will be better since we have a new coaching staff, hopefully they can work things out.
It's possible. Teams do grow and learn in the process of a season. Our db's were in their first game in a new system, new people. There is hope. But there's that lingering concern. Was it first game, get to know the scheme, or is it lack of talent, or dumb coaches, which can't be overcome. I'm gonna hope and wait 2 weeks and see what happens. One game is not the season. Everyone is still adjusting.
