Or so says Florida http://collegesports.blog.statesman.com/2015/05/13/hey-texas-and-lsu-florida-claims-its-dbu/ Poll included in the article linked
Ok, so did some research. Since 2005 (10 Years) LSU has had 15 defensive backs drafted into the NFL Texas 12 drafted Florida 8 drafted Overall LSU has had 2 Thorpe award winners, 2 Bednarik award winners and 1 DB selected as a heisman finalist (should have won, greatest college DB of all time) Texas has had 2 Thorpes nothing else Florida 1 Thorpe nothing else. It doesn't matter who votes. LSU is easily DBU.
Also it needs to be mentioned, Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Louisville and West Virginia have just as much a case to be made as Florida does.
You know what's messed up, the NFL has completely removed Chad Jones from its website on the 2010 NFL Draft page. That's pretty fucked up. He was drafted, can't take that away, would probably be a damn good safety in the league too if not for that wreck.
The Saints removed the picture of Tracy Porter running the interception back in the SB from Champions Square because Darren Sharper is in the pic.
