There are many people who dislike the current LSU logo and wish for something different. I don't like it or hate it, but it is definitely not the logo I would like to see used. Which one of these logos do you prefer?
What logo do you like then? I'd prefer something that includes a tiger simillar to the one on the helmet or perhaps something that has the eye of the tiger such as the following:
Tiger from helmet or "eye" from the field Either the Tiger logo from the helmet - or the "eye of the tiger" from the field. I can't stand "Toonces" (the new logo) - and the Geaux eye of the tiger is ok - but not as good as the one on the field. I refuse to buy anything with Toonces on it.
If you want an outsiders view.. the eye is cool. If LSu every changed the look, that would be great:grin:
Agreed. Can't go wrong with good old fashioned block letters. I'm sick of that "extreme" looking Geaux font on the new logo. There's also just too much going on in the new logo- its downright ugly. I'd love to see the "Old Skule" Tiger ldskule: come back, or at least use the helmet logo :tigerhead or center field eye. I just hate the new logo.
I'm not too sold on that new cartoon tiger but it's better than no logo at all. It has always bothered me that the browns never had a cool logo. The should put a dog on side of their helmets. My vote is for the tiger eye and the ousting of Ellis the mascot.
