Every one keeps saying Brady is a horrible coach. I am not saying whether I agree or disagree with that, I just want to know why yall think that?

The SEC has not been a very good conference overall for the last few years, and it shows in its NCAA performance. So while winning games in the SEC is good it's not as big an indicator as it used to be. Then you look at our performance in the postseason the last few years, and if you can tell anyone with a straight face that you think it's acceptable, I will admit that Ole Miss might not have the most delusional fans around. LSU has been embarrassed by teams in the postseason and looked very poorly prepared. Purdue, Oklahoma, UAB all beat us very badly. Brady's history there is a matter of record and it's not very good.

Then you look at Brady's program management and it has not exactly been impressive. We've had a big benefit of Baton Rouge being home to some really top talent nationally for 3 years running with Bass, Davis and Mitchell (and Thomas developing into the beast he is). The balance of the team has been heavily skewed to big men, but the number of good to very good guards from Louisiana who are playing at other schools, is evidence that for some reason Brady has a problem there. D Mitchell is a good player, Minor has been up and down but both are too short to play effective perimeter defense. Maybe this will start to turn around with Mason & Martin, we'll see.

We are looking pretty good in the SEC, and I hope it continues. I'm glad to see the team playing well and showing toughness, winning games on the road instead of losing them like earlier in the season. I think our players absolutely give us a chance to do well in the NCAA, but I do not have high expectations with Brady at the helm.

Look at the last couple of year's SEC results in the NCAA -- it ain't pretty, and overall I think the SEC is even worse this year. However there are signs that the SEC could be finally bounching back -- some pretty good coaches have entered the league recently in Odom, Pearl and maybe a couple of others. I'm glad that LSU is near the top of that. Maybe Brady will prove me and other detractors wrong. I used to defend the guy, so I'm not dead set on bashing him.

i am the biggest brady supporter in the universe and even i am getting tired of defining every lsu basketball event in terms of who it helps in the brady debate. seems like the brady issue is a non-issue right now, with so much else to pay attention to, like the awesome players lsu has, or the steady climb they are making up the national rankings and rpi.

As long as the team keeps winning, who cares about whether Brady is a good coach or not?

i used to think the same thing, but after the bama game, i know dmiych can be a stopper against guards like steele. of course, he wont block any 3s, but not many do.

what happened early? i couldnt listen. did barnes use a zone that took a while to figure out, or his trademark hardnosed m2m?

its great that tmitch is getting more assertive on o. hitting the shot of the game will only make him moreso.

i am concerned about ole miss's shooting %, but i didnt see the game
