1. Anybody else here think that punt went out at the 2" line.

Isnt that something they could have reviewed?

That was at a key point in the game and could have made the difference between winning and losing.
  2. I thought the exact same thing. But then I realized that it is the SEC officials duty to negate a good play for LSU
  3. it was a reviewable play according the instant replay rules, and I don't know why they didnt do it?
  4. The ball clearly went right over the pylon which makes it a touchback. But, a review of the play wouldn't have killed them.
  5. clearly?

    might want to check that...
  6. Remember, the guy in the both is an official and he most likely looked at it 4 or 5 times before the next play was run, at least. Just about every play is reviewed and if the guy in the both thinks there is enough evidence, he calls for a field review.
  7. I don't remember them showing a replay from an angle that provided a definitive answer one way or the other. The zebra was standing next to the pylon and had the best look. When I saw it live, I thought it went out of bounds before the end zone. When I saw it in slow motion I wasn't so sure.
  8. Booth. :hihi:
  9. I watched it several times in slow motion last night. I can not tell for certain one way or the other. The ref had a bettter view than any camera had, that's for sure. Good call ref!
  10. When you watched it in slow-mo, did anyone else notice that the ref wasn't even looking at the ball rolling. IMO, he missed where it went out of bounds. It was inside the pylon IMO.
