For those of you that actually care about this sort of thing. LSU moved up in the all-time ranking index on College Football Data Warehouse site. It's a tribute to our very successful program throughout the years. They take a number of things into account for their rankings. With what Saban did and what Miles has done we've moved up into the top 10. Hopefully we can keep up this great run and make a push for the top 5 one of these days. We're among elite company, every single team in the top ten is an elite program.

Also, check out how the SEC stacks up to the other conferences all-time.

Thanks for posting this! This is very important to me!

We are an All-Time Top Ten College Football program.

Of all SEC teams, only Alabama and Tennessee can also say that.

We are both among some good company in that list. Congrats to all of our teams who make us proud in bragging rights! :thumb:

Check out that list and look how far down you have to go to find Arizona and Arizona State. Even Vandy is ranked way above them both.

And the SEC is listed as the #1 conference. When sorted by national championships, the SEC is tied in 2nd place with the Ivy League. THE IVY LEAGUE????????

I thought the same thing. There are quite a few Ivy League schools in the top 20. They sure haven't had much success in the last 40 years.

They had so much success in the early days of college football that it's left a lasting mark. Over the coming years they will do nothing but slide down, but if they are going for all time programs, I have no problem with them being up there right now.

this list should be recalculated for the "modern age" of football. Start in the 40's maybe..
