LSU has fallen back to #7 in the Rivals ranking. The current top 7 order is Florida, USC, Texas, ND, Penn St, Georgia and LSU.
Shouldn't be that hard to move up. Georgia adds at least one (even though it is a 5*), and PSU adds one or two (one is potentially a 5*). We'll be adding up to four more guys. Unless ND, UGA, or PSU gets a suprise commit I don't see how we can't pass all three of them (as long as we do in fact end up with four or so more guys).
UGA passed us because they got Reshad Jones, but we got a commitment from Laron Landry to come back one more year which doesn't count, so that's fine with me. Also, we're probably goign to sign a couple more like Symonette and Deas which could move us back up.
Jones hasn't committed anywhere. Although I'd put my money on Georgia, nothing is official yet so that isn't counted in the rankings...
You're right Dallas. When I skimmed the Ticker on Rivals, I saw a story by his name that said he picked the Dawgs and I thought he did, but it was a Florida DL not him. But I doubt with Laron coming back he is coming here. He probably wants to do like last years 5* safety Kenny Phillips at Miami and start as a TF, but I'm not up on UGA's safety situation except that Greg Blue was a senior.
