LSU is the only team in the top 25 with a single digit number of commits. This tells me that by the time we do max out our commits, we will most likely once again be up in the top ten at least. Only 9 commits and we're in the top 25 with most other schools in the top 25 having commits numbering in the high teens to twenties. Looking good.

Also, take note at where Southern Cal is.

Remember that most of the rankings are based on average stars so the number of recruits should not really matter, only the quality.

    Rivals is total points.

That's not true. The number of commits makes a big difference. It is not the average rating of the commit, it is a formuls that gives points for the rating and number of commits.

I'm sure a lot of recruits that have been targeting LSU, and vice-versa, have been waiting to see what we would do in reguards to finding Saban's replacement. For the looks of it, and I use the quotes given by 2 of the recruits that had expressed their concern and possible move towards another school, but reaffirmed their commitment to LSU after Miles was hired--and both said that they like Miles a great deal. So I'm assuming we certainly will pick up the pace, and finish strong.

Remember, no matter how strong Miles finishes, he's still getting a relatively late start recruiting for LSU. He said he would not try and sway those that had already committed to OSU, but I'm sure he'll still persue those that might have been on the fence. I think a good telling point would be the QUALITY of the recruits Miles lands, in his abbreviated 1st LSU recruiting season rather than the quantity of recruits.

My point was that we only have 9 commits yet we're still in the top 25, we can only go up with more commits.
