Did I read somewhere that they also lowered the kicking tee from 3 inches to 1 inch to do just what you're talking about here.

Totally agreed that Trindon will play a huge role this season. Especially w/ the new rule change. Hope he has been working on his catching ability, he would be freakin' awesome - another Devin Hester in the making. But just in case, I hope we have someone else for a back up return besides Early - he's too valuable for our offense to be use there. I'm still getting nightmares from the Florida game last year - if we didn't messed up on the punt and kickoff return, we woulda....oh well.

Our new recruit, Crutchfield, is expected to handle kickoffs. Supposedly he can really boom them.

Wow. Why not one of the other WRs. We sure have enough to go around. You would think a WR is more natural at catching...and wouldn't they be faster than Jai too? Or is Jai that fast?

Jai is fast and a great athlete. Miles made a few statements in an article awhile back about how he will help the special teams and how dependable he was returning kicks. I even saw a way to early Mock Draft and he was going in the top 10. He will be a nice surprise since he has fallen of the radar after his recruitment. I look forward to seeing him in action at the nickleback position this year.
