OK, you guys are #1 in my book. You proved it on the field against my HOKIES, (who seem to have been a bit over-rated,) and you proved it off the field through the friendliness and generosity with which you greeted myself and my friends. I hope all the HOKIES who made the trip had similar experinces. Thanks to you guys I had a good weekend in spite of the game. Good luck the rest of the year and maybe we'll see you in Blacksburg soon to return the favor. GEAUX Tigers!
Great to hear that from an opposing fan. We had at least twenty hokies at our tailgate throughout the day, and all the other ones I saw seemed in high spirits too. Glad you could make it to the party. Good luck with the rest of your schedule. :thumb:
The Hokies that came were very classy from what I have heard. I'm rooting for VT to win the ACC now.....so we can say we blew out the ACC Champs :thumb: . But seriously, good luck with your season, T. Taylor is a stud.
a very nice post. hope you'll stick around and discuss football with us and keep us updated on how the hokie's year goes. glad to hear you enjoyed your trip!
My wife and I talked to many Hokie fans at the airport, hotel, and at the pregame festivities. You are great fans and I hope all enjoyed the LSU! southern hospitality. As for the game experience - it reminds me of an old question: "Other than that, how did you like the play, Mrs. Lincoln?" Thanks for coming to Baton Rouge :thumb: Good luck in the ACC.
I bought visitor tickets to the game and sat right in the middle of all the orange and maroon in the Upper East. Some of the Classiest Fans Ever in my book...of course there wasnt much about to taunt:wink: I did however witness several instances where drunk teenage Tiger fans taunted with vulgarity. This is not acceptible and I hope those attacked will understand it's a small "minority" of Tailgating tiger Fans that do this.
But that's ok because Glenn Dorsey ran the Hokie down, turned him upside down, shook all the lunch money loose, scooped it up, handed it back to you then trotted to the locker room to get dressed out for the game. Glenn Dorsey is not only the best college football player in the nation, he's also a superhero crime fighter.  :geauxtige :geauxtige
Glad you had fun in spite of the game. Just don't tell Sooner fans how friendly we are, don't want to ruin our BAD reputation.:thumb:
