1. I don't need to "go look at video" of Murphy. I have seen video and seen him practice/play in person. Yes, he is promising, and looks fantastic this year, in practice. If video of this kid's practices are your only argument against McFadden or for KW or Murphy, than you are going to lose this argument and will not convince anybody.

You confuse a simple statement and fact of McFadden's superior ability with a lack of belief in our own players. We have phenoms wearing purple and gold and I can be just as guilty as the next person when it comes to hyping our own players, but facts are facts. Otherwise, they are just opinions. You are welcome to your opinion that McFadden is not the best back in the country, but the facts prove you wrong.
  2. I think he is as talented as anyone we have here, and he showed it against us. But you make a valid point that life would be different w/out McFadden there as well. It's certainly possible he wouldn't do as well. Unfortunately for us, they are both back there again this year, so we probably won't know if he is just an average back. It's just my opinion that he is that good.
  3. Felix Jones & McFadden were also running behind one of the best OLines in CFB the past 2 years. They are both great backs, but their line doesn't get enough credit.

  4. TheDude....you are the posterboy LSU fan. Cannot be pleased with what we have and have faith we will certainly produce. You were probably one that was pulling for Russell to be benched in October, huh?
  5. Certainly true, and I can only hope the hit they took there this year will effect those gaudy numbers.
  6. Perpetual.
  7. Quite incorrect. If you look at my posts you will see that I have been a big defender of Russell and longed for KW to get in the game because of his obvious talent. I am over the top pleased with our talent at LSU. What does that have to do with the statement that you made that we have the best RB in the country? I am not a drinker of koolaid and think that everyone that straps it on for LSU is the best in the country. That would be pure lunacy. We have some of the best players in the country at every skill set, but in the case of RB, there is at least one better, and you are not finding anyone to agree with you on this subject.

As is usually the case with immature posters that are obviously losing their argument, you resort to casting aspersions in my direction. Sorry buddy, won't work here. My loyalty to our programs and our players former and current is unwavering and has been since my first LSU game in 1974, through my own graduation in the 80's, and continues today, long after I have left La. behind.

Guess we are all posterboys here..:hihi::hihi:

  8. What a lame cop-out. The Dude asked you some serious questions and made hash out of your argument and all you offer is this?
