1. I am not an expert but coached girls softball for several years. I really am surprised that ASU is riding one young lady the entire tournament. I know the arm stress is different, but I couldn't pitch girls back-to-back. If we pull this out, I do feel for the ASU pitcher as it should not be all on her.
  2. Lady Tigers just tied it.
  3. Duck on the pond, 2 down. Top 7, LSU can take the lead with a base knock.

    Never mind it's bottom 7.
  4. Extra innings.
  5. A few years ago an LSU pitcher pitched 3 games on the same day in the Women's CWS. I don't really understand it either but if its possible to do that and your best pitcher is a lot better than everybody else on the staff you gotta go for it.
  6. The wear and tear on the arm of a person who throws underhand is far far less because it's a more natural motion. Overhand throwers just can't do that because it's unnatural.

LSU sure has stranded a shit ton of runners in this game. That may come back to bite them in the rear.
  7. At some point, your arm is still mush. But hey, we have a chance to win so screw ASU's coach!
  8. One pitcher teams rarely go deep in the WCWS...
  9. Sure was a great series to watch. Here's to the lady tigers getting their early season mojo back just at the right time.
  10. Oklahoma won it all with that beast a few years ago that pitched just about every game for them.

I think her name was Ricketts. They had another pitcher but the Ricketts chick pitched most of their games.
