all the talk about our speed and of course it's obvious but what do our Receivers run? Bowe ? 4.4? Davis? Holiday? Lafell? is it in print anywhere?
I read somewhere that Holiday runs about 4.27 or so. Williams and Scott run about 4.3. I'm not sure about the recievers though.
I believe Holliday has that "next man" speed. He's as fast as he needs to be to beat the "next man".:thumb:
I like your answer better :thumb: Check out Trindon back in high school. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G-TrCKin1Q
Remember the story about the coonass and the aggie who were walking in the woods and walked up on a momma grizzly bear with cubs, who was distraut, stood up and was obviously about to set ablaze........the aggie asked the coonass, "What are we going to do"? The coonass said, "Run". The aggie replied, "You seriously think we can run faster than that grizzly"? The coonass said, "I don't have to outrun the grizzly.....I just have to outrun you".
 I used that line on my dad and brother when we were in Canada a few years back. They both outweigh me be 50+ lbs, and when they started trying to get in my head about the bears, I said "I'm not worried, because I'm pretty fast". They said "not that fast", which is when I explained the "survival of the FASTEST" law to them.
Per rivals.com (these were their times during the summer following their Sr. year of high school, so they're probably a little off compaired to what they all run now--but I don't expect it to be too far off from these.) Bowe 4.53 Davis 4.42 Doucet 4.40 LaFell 4.5 Craig Davis has said in an interview earlier this season that only Trindon is faster and that he (Davis) runs in the 4.3 range. The other Freshman WR's: Ricky Dixon 4.66 Chris Mitchell 4.43 Jared Mitchell 4.47 And finally, our current WR recruits: Toddrick Bajoie 4.55 DeAngelo Benton 4.45
I can guarantee that LaFell is faster than 4.5. Trindon at 4.27 seems a bit unrealistic, unless he was computer timed. I know his 60-yd times were on the track and computer timed, and they were blistering.
I don't know abuot his 40 times, but my father-in-law is the team doctor for St. Helena High School and got to see Trindon play in person a few times. He says that young man in the fastest high school player he's seen in quite a while.
