Ryan Patterson just missed a HR by inches. Blake Gill just got a base hit. 1 on, 2 down. Stavi with a base hit. That's four hard hit balls thus far. Clay just misses a three run homer by inches... This is a good sign, I hope we keep hitting the ball like this!

Really "peppered" Crosby that first inning, althought we have no runs to show for it. I'm a believer in working the counts. Crosby had a long 1st inning, throwing 22 pitches.

Lets hope we continue that same approach!

Sprowl gets on...Patterson rips a base hit... 2 on, no one out, Gill up!

Blake Gill lays a beautiful bunt! Bases loaded, no out...

Stavinoha has been dead the last few at bats... add a shallow fly-out to his resume' 1 down... Clay harris up, sac line-out and Sprowl scores. LSU gets ONE measly run with bases loaded and no one out...

State with lead off base hit... to quote Jim Hawthorne, I have a feeling it just wasn't meant to be. Hebert?! wtf?! Might as well just let patterson get to that ball. Man I sure wish WE could get some breaks like that...:dis:

Yeah. Tough to swallow having the bases loaded and only getting the 1 run. :(

Oh well, we're on the right track...again....Let's hope we can keep getting on base and continue hitting the ball hard.
