1. Fact of interest. I don't know if they said it on ESPN because I stopped watching.

LSU, in back to back years, has posted the fewest points totaled in a Final Four.

45 Last year in a Duke blowout and 35 this year.
  2. Well, we did set some records. Lowest shooting % and lowest # of points.
  3. Watching this game reminded me why I hate the 3-point line in college basketball. At least in the men's game the players can move quick enough to contest some of these shots. In the women's game you just have to make a few passes and you'll find someone open.

I believe the 3-pointer has too much of an impact in the women's game. Anybody have any idea what % of the shots and % of the scores are a result of 3-point shots?
  4. Yeah, Ok. Hopefully the new coach will teach a little more fundamentals. We had a great run. Another year with these Tigers and a little more input and yeah. We'll be highly ranked next year.

Now go SEC. Lady Vols, bring it home.
  5. Well, yeah.... Anyone can shoot em. LSU could too. Forget about it. The three point line is a weapon. It will take the pressure off your inside game. You gotta know how to use it.
  6. This in NOT a typical LSU ladies basketball game. They have been excitiing to watch for a long time.
  7. We should fire Smoke again.
    2 people like this.
  8. Well, the LSU ladies can sit back and watch what offensive rebounds are all about. Go Tennesse..

Hopefully we'll learn and improve in this department.
  9. Very true, we just came out slow and couldnt get in rhythm and the Knights played out of their head hitting 6 of their first 8 money balls.

The Tenn/NC game is worse......Both teams combined made THREE of first TWENTY-SIX shots.
  10. Actually he did so little to earn his pay that if LSU could fire him again they should.:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
