    Not true!!

The Bills made it to the league championship game 4 times. The Lady Tigers have never played for the championship of the Div IA league.

Both Tenn and NC have started their games ice cold, too. LSU was not the only team to start slow in the Final Four.

Rutgers appears to be a RED HOT team right now, and, I think that they can win it all this year.

I hate to say this, but, on second thought . . . this was an embarrassing loss. The sportscasters are calling it a "blowout", which is was. From the opening gun, LSU was not even close to being in the game. We looked comatose.

    :sob:

    LSU!

Yeah, I was dissapointed with this one. I really thought we lacked effort on defense and rebounding. If you watched the first five minutes of the Tenn. and NC game (if you were as pathetic as me), you saw that LSU's defense was not even close to being as tough as those two teams (or Rutgers for that matter).

We rarely defended outside the three point line and put ZERO pressure on Rutgers (no pressing either). Against UCONN, we were extended, more energetic and making them take it inside. Now, Rutgers played a great game and shot lights out. But still, I was amazed at times with the way we looked. So was UCONN's coach if you heard him after the game.

Sylvia was frustrated and went into the same mode she went into last year in the Final Four. I thought the refs let them get away with too much against her with all the pushing from behind, etc. But still, if they're going to do it then we should have done it. But we didn't. We needed more from the rest of the team, but we just couldn't get it. Erica White played extremely hard though.

Why Hightower played as little as she did is beyond me. I don't care if she's a freshman, etc. She's going to be our next star and she should have played more. I can just tell she's a natural shooter and she's extremely athletic to go with her shooting skills. She will be a starter next year and should seriously help to possibly capture that championship we're trying to get.

Still, it was a great season considering everything that went down. Starkey's win over UCONN was exciting as well. I hope they get a real Xs and Os kind of coach who gets fired up and is quick with adjustments. We may be the favorite going into next year. Maybe the 5th time will be a charm if we get there.

By the way, I think it was TexasTigers who said he has basically no interest in women's basketball because of 19-point scoring outputs like we had in the first half. You must never get interested in our men's team, huh? That offense is like watching two snails hump for 40 minutes.

Why can LSU never win in the Final Four? It's the men and women. I believe we are a combined 0-8 in the Final Four. :dis:
