Barring a complete meltdown, this one's in the bag.

1 error I believe, but in my opinion, Hebert messed up about 2 ground balls, and a line drive right at him. Naccarata blew an easy DP. Defensively, Hebert is a liability, we need Horwath bad. I am starting to wonder if Mestepey's career is over b/c he did not look too good. Southern is not THAT great. They are SWAC leaders, but not an SEC team. Faircloth and Bonura pitched very well.

I disagree. Mestepey will slowly come back into form, and Southern is no slouch on offense and we probably will see them again in regionals as four seed.

Officially, 1 error on Hebert .... but Hebert missed a couple of more plays that could have been errors. Also, Hebert and Naccarata couldn't get their act together to cover 2nd on 2 ground balls back to Mestepey ... should have been easy double plays, but we blew both of them.

The good news is Hebert had 4 hits. It'll be interesting to see who starts this weekend. A weak middle infield won't get it done come May and June ... we have lots of work to do!
