well they are going to Va-Tech the week before, so i doubt it. This is one time I don't mind Gameday not being there, because it would turn into a "V-Tech trying to win one for their community" type thing, which we need as little of as possible.

uh, doesn't matter that they are going to Blacksburg the week before cause this week would be in good ole Baton Rouge. However, i doubt it cause they will probably hold out for the LSU vs Auburn or LSU vs FLA game.

i believe it will still be "that" kind of game anyway the way the media is already talking about it. If i heard right it will be a primetime (9:30) game vs the usual 7:00, with all the "win one for the community" hype. Plus the memorial tribute before the game.

how soon we forget. we were the recipients of the same kind of "hype" after katrina. i think it is a bit hypocritical to begrudge VT of the same thing.

i would prefer we just focus on repaying hospitalities and then winning a good game!

i certainly dont have a problem with gameday going to va tech the first game (i really couldnt care less), but dont you think equating the vatech massacre with katrina like equating iragi freedom with ww2?

i dont think their campus and community didnt hurt any less that lsu and the state of louisiana did, just because the circumstances were vastly different.

I think Gameday will come. Last year they had OSU on two weeks in a row and Florida on two weeks in a row.

I think they also come for the Florida game this year.

I doubt it. They'll likely go to PSU-ND. It's the Saturday night ABC game and ESPN has made it a policy last year to not necessarily have "Gameday" go to the best game of the day.
