1. I don't know if this is the right place to post this since the changes in the forums, but anyway . . .

So the wife and I were talking this weekend about how much fun it was going to Dallas to see the Tigers and the Ducks in Jerry World a few years ago. I mentioned that LSU and the Badgers were playing in Houston Saturday and she say, "Oh, that sounds like fun. Let's go."

And now you can see my dilemma -- I had planned the Dallas trip for a couple months. I've got five days to try to put this together. If anyone has a hook up for tickets that will make neither my nose nor my wallet bleed, please let me know by PM.

    Thanks.
  2. The morning paper said that LSU had about 300 of their 35,000 allotment remaining. Give them a call.
  3. If you plan on staying overnight the good hotels within easy range of the stadium are probably already booked up. You might have to stay at a Motel 6 or a Ramada Inn.
  4. Looks like all they have available are Club level seats. I'm sure they're good seats and the amenities might be worth it, but those are some tickets that can certainly make my wallet bleed.

Yeah, I actually wouldn't stay near the stadium anyway. The Medical Center area isn't bad, but I prefer just outside 610 around the Galleria but those seemed to be all booked up. I did find a national chain in Westchase just inside the Beltway where I can get a suite for <$150 a night so if we end up going (who am I kidding -- she wants to go, we're going) that's where we'll stay. I'll either jump on 59 to the West Loop and then off at Kirby and fight for parking or just call a cab.
  5. I use to stay at the South Shore Harbor Hotel & Convention Center in League City. Very nice and its reasonable and right on a marina. Easy to get to I-45
  6. Hey, you can't take it with you! You're a shyster, hose down the client you like the least. Make his wallet bleed.
  7. Sue the stadium and write the tix off as "legal research"

  8. Not a bad thought. I've checked it out and the room rates are comparable. Thanks, dude.
