I just wanted to congratulate the LSU women’s basketball team on their natty and bringing another natty home. (I think during the celebration at the PMAC yesterday it was mentioned that this is #50 for the school!.). Anyway, it is regretful that the media and social media just wants to snipe over this. I enjoyed watching the Final Four thoroughly and don’t need a bunch of talking heads trying to ruin it for us. The other thing about this, is that this is one of 4 Scott Woodward’s major hires that have hit for a natty (correct me if I am wrong). His intention was to build the university sports programs into national contenders across the board. We have historically been strong here, except for basketball. This is a great day as we watch the further building of athletics at LSU. Let us celebrate!!!
And don't look now but the Gymnastics team made the Elite 8 in their playoffs, not to mention that the Baseball team has a chance for a Natty also!
