The OU women's team is in the same region. You won't often hear me saying nice things about OU (goes against the way I was raised:hihi: ) but the OU women are every bit as good as reported. I think the women's team is a better basketball team than the 2003 football team was at football. If that makes sense. Oh well, it does to me. Anyway, I would like to see the two teams play each other. That would be a good, hard fought game. Plus, it would give me a chance to antagonize people around here with my LSU wear. And have a few good natured "conversations" with a couple of guys I know.
I hope Cara Lawson had a good night's sleep and she is over her horror at UT getting a #2 seed. Trey Wingo takes the cake though. While slobbering all over Lawson in an effort to agree with her, he said: "And Tennessee won the conference tournament which is the one that really counts". Yeah right. Like LSU's undefeated conference record means nothing. Edit: OK. They lost to Florida. I conveniently forgot about that debacle.
