You have no idea how much I DO love LSU WBB. Do you have children? If you do, how would you feel if someone was ugly to them or hurt them? Probably very upset and defensive. Don't take my passion as anything other than that. It's also an accumulation of frustration and anger from the months after the Pokey removal on here and Tiger Rant with ugly racial remarks and silly, immature sexual remarks about her being gay. You know there are a lot of gay sports fans out there. They don't have to be mutually exclusive. I now know that when I want to talk Lady's hoops that I need to go to a Lady's hoops board. I think some people just amuse themselves with making remarks about things they know nothing about. I wouldn't do that. I RESPECT all of your love for LSU and LSU Sports. I'm still so confused at why someone would diss any LSU sport or sport figure. It's totally beyond me. Yes, I am very upset and the entire situation with out WBB program. It's a major love and hobby for me. To see it slipping away (or possibly slipping away) is very upsetting to me. So, to put my feelings out there and feel like they're trampled on is hurtful. Yes, I said ugly words about Carla Berry, and I mean them. I still don't think y'all understand what happened. Thanks and that's it for now.

There are actually lots of women on this forum. We'd love to add another one, but not if a new member wants to call longtime members a-holes. Again, stick around--and even check out the football posts, too. Lots of disagreement (you should've seen Coach Miles' first season), but it's addictive.
I teach my daughters to treat all with respect......as long as respect is shown to them. I don't teach them to turn the other cheek, though I know it's not "The way" of the good book. I also know women need to be strong and tough.......but still feminine to have the best chance to make it in today's world.......namely, when I'm not around. My kids, however, are not open to discussion in the same context we're speaking in here. Yet you do it with an assistant coach and cry wolf when it's towards the hd. coach. Listen honey, that's it.......period. I've practically fallen down trying to be accommodating to you through pm's, posts, and have watched you insult members, former coaches, and our women's basketball program. Either cool it or your leaving here won't be a choice you make. :thumb:
Wow, I tried to nicely explain myself and I'm about to fall down doing it,too. Yes, turning the other cheek is a beautiful thing and should always be strived for. However, there are days where that is hard to do. I hope you've done the same thing before if your life.
By the way, I don't cry wolf about the head coach. I said many times that what Pokey did was wrong and that she SHOULD have been dismissed. It's my lack of understanding why people aren't upset with Carla Barry, TOO!
How would you feel if your daughter was one of the girls Pokey allegedly did her thing with? Wouldn't you want someone to come forward? I'm gonna put my disclaimer before my post for a change. *I am in no way comparing Pokey to these other guys* What if you were a USC or VaTech alum? Would you blindly defend and respect O.J. or Vick? Would you be happier if everyone kept their mouths shut, and these "alleged" wrong doings just continued?
