I never saw him. I was at the game but I was not focused on him. Bama got lucky on two big Vandy plays that were flaged in the first quarter. Then their QB got hurt on the first series and was not able to play the second half. Both teams did not look very good.
JPW had a rough game, but overall, the team looked pretty good. Nickson was hurt, granted, but that injury came from pressure from the DL: a unit that was considered a weakness on the team. (still worried about that group) Running game is averaging 250+ yards per game. Passing game is getting there. OL play is better than it has been in years. LB play is exactly where it needs to be. The team is coming together a lot quicker than a lot of rival fans have expected.
I don't disagree. In earlier conversations we've talked about the big 5 games of this year. It's becoming apparent, thoughts of pulling 3 out of the 5 aren't so unrealistic. Those saying 6-6 should begin to realize that next weekend. While I'm still under the 24 hour rule, I see this next weekend as a repeat of the game in '99.
