1. So if Auburn looses Malzahn, Newton, and a very experienced offensive line where do they end up next year? Not first in the SECW for sure.
  2. Well they should have at least an extra $200k to spend on a new OC.

  3. That money is non-discretionary; it must be spent on the QB.

  5. Why thank you. I'd say let sCam pick up our trophy while he's in NYC but he might just throw it out the window.

  6. The Wa Po reporting that Maryland OC James Franklin to be the next HC at Vandy.
  7. With $cam bolting to the NFL and the loss of a ton of seniors, AU will be back the way they were in '08-'09.

On another note, isn't it funny how just last year, Tim Tebow as dubbed 'the greatest college QB of all time' and 'there's never going to be another one as dominant as him'. Granted, you can't take anything away from Tebow's records or accomplishments, just look at all the talent he was surrounded with compared to $cam and what happened to FU's offense and his numbers after Harvin left. Couple that with how much better Newton played even after the pay for play scandal broke; which he capped off with the improbable comeback at BAMA and it's apparent to me that Newton is the better QB.

I can't stand AU or the NCAA for deeming Newton eligible, but you can't deny what he did on the football field against the best players in the toughest conference in college football.
