Booger has been speaking the truth about Miles for years now. Marcus is speaking the truth. That stat he gave is something we have all discussed since it started -- a downward turn to average in the SEC.

Orgeron has his work cut out for him, and little did we know how significant it would be but Saturday night was certainly a sobering moment and a glimpse of much work to be done and the gap that exists.

 

Yes. We are an average SEC team with above average talent. Hell. Even elite talent most years.

 

Elite talent at the skill positions on offense, receiver and running back, maybe not receiver this year, Chark is good he isnt great. Elite talent usually at safety and corner, and then maybe 1 defensive end/linebacker and 1 d lineman. We have are mediocre to bad everywhere else.

 

Mediocre right now, but some of that youth on the Oline will develop.

QB's, which MILES ran off, have never developed.


I mean, I give Oeaux a pass only in that he is not responsible for the lack of Dline and Oline depth. Though I know Taint blames Oeaux for it all.

 

Some of it is on him, he has been the head recruiter for what...3 seasons?
