  4. We're all set. I may go show him where to hop in the parade but I won't be in one. He's bringing his ball & chain so I'm just going to play host. He's going to bunk here so we'll get to drink a cold one.

Will cook that bastard a gumbo for tomorrow evening when he gets here and when he gets in after hitting the town.

Cross your fingers for us cause they give a lot of rain Tuesday.

I've invited Mastermind and his wife. He said we can hang out and stuff but no way he was sleeping at a honky's house.

  8. Brah, if my boss wasn't flying in tomorrow I can almost assure you I would be there. I will be that way soon anyway cause my lil boy is missing his big paw and I can't keep them two apart for too long. I will let you know when and fo sho we will have a cold one.

This is just too good. Nicely done!
  9. Awesome :D
  10. The Youngsville parade was bigger than I expected. For the past year or two, I've only heard good things about the economy in the Lafayette area (extremely low unemployment) and for the oil & gas industry in general. I live in the Houston area and everyone I know in oil & gas is doing much better than in a long time. Our company has increased from about 600 to 1,000 over the past year with plans to get to about 2,000 over the next 12-24 months (US only).

My understanding was that Nola was doing better also but that may have been more related to tourism and hosting all of the big events again.
