1. Check out collegefootballnews.com and their list of the 15 leading Heisman candidates. Matt Mauck is listed as #13!!!

"13. QB Matt Mauck, LSU – Mauck has solid numbers, an enormous win under his belt and a clutch play at the end of last week’s Georgia game that helped push the Tigers into the top 10. With just over a minute left—and a Bulldog preparing to pummel him—Mauck found Skyler Green for a game-winning 34-yard touchdown.
Last Week: 14-of-29 for 180 yds, 1 TD and 1 INT (Georgia)
    2003 Season: 59-of-100 for 775 yds, 9 TDs and 2 INTs"

Nice to see Mauck, who just keeps winning, get some recognition!

  2. Mauck is a good QB. I think the team he is leading now is our best team in several years!! It sure is nice just to see a Tiger getting some respect!!! Keep up the hard work Tigers....your fans have not been this happy in years!!
  3. They left Clayton off - it was only QB's and RB's.
  4. Larry Fitzgerald is a WR.
  5. I'll settle for Mauck as another SEC Championship game MVP.
  6. How about Sugar Bowl MVP???

I have a question - Where does the "busted play" TD pass to Skyler Green rank among great moments in Tiger Stadium history? Given that it was one of the key moments in busting a whole lot of Tiger Stadium myths and the winning, dramatic score in a classic game, it seems it needs a name or something to remember it by. Not that I'll ever forget it or anything. It needs to be added to the lore and mystique of TS history.
  7. Mauck is a winner.......
  8. I dont think it does rank. Sure, it was a great play, but to me, it just felt routine. I fully expected to march down the field and score. I never once felt that the outcome of the game was in question. It just wasnt all that dramatic from my perspective. Maybe Im getting used to winning.

Sugar Bowl MVP sounds good to me. Hell, I dont even care if its Mauck. Clayton, Addai, or Webster would be ok, too. :D
  9. I guess I got a little excited about it since I've never been there for any of the other classic moments in TS. I wasn't around for the Earthquake game or the night the goalposts came down. However, I do think it goes down as a really clutch play and heartstopping moment in what has become my favorite game in TS (I was there for the Auburn game to win the west but was a little too drunk to fully enjoy).
  10. Rivers being high on that list is a joke. 2 losses people
