...but why is there no LSU on the listed TV schedule so far? http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2005/Features/TV.htm
I guess you've never seen and LSU game(or SEC game) on ESPN. CBS has 1st choice, then ESPN, JP & ESPN2 in that order. Just guessing but I think our TV schedule goes something like this. N. Texas-no TV ASU-ESPN Tenn.-CBS Moo. U.-JP or the Deuce Florida-CBS or ESPN Vandy-JP or no TV Auburn-ESPN App. St.-no TV Bama-ESPN or CBS Ole Miss-Deuce or ESPN Arkansas-CBS
FightinTiger is correct. If you live locally, Every LSU SEC game will be shown locally, I'm positive that LSU vs North Texas and App St. won't be on TV, but I'm sure the ASU game will find it's way on TV somehow.
Here locally in BR, they show all the LSU games that aren't on other tv stations on Cox Sports Ch, don't they?
I really dont know, but a couple years ago when I lived near BR, they showed all games live except the non conference games with little meaning ala cupcake games. Although those were shown on tape delay sometime during the week. Not sure if it's done that way still or not.
That's why JP is trying to show better games. Because JP sponsors the weekly conference basketball games and bit of the baseball season, they'd like to show more than UK and Vandy football after October 15! Doesn't make sense a life insurance company would want to televise anything from Baton Rouge in the morning before last November, all those potential claims.
CFN didnt list any of the LSU games last year either, except the one or two that were definately on ESPN.. as for the cupcake games, I expect those to be on Tigervision.. which sucks.. just put it on coxsports and let me watch the game.. THere was a game last year like that.. it was available on Gameplan for everyone except in La. Im wondering if they somehow block it on Gameplan Online...
love the avatar, loco!! i think we'll be seeing more day games than we're used to in death valley. as long as the atmosphere is like uga in '03, i'm cool.
