You may not be able to teach toughness, but you sure can teach blocking which is similar. You have to be aggressive as a WR blocking and if you want to talk about a strong point the last few years its been the blocking of our WR's starting with Michael Clayton and so on. I don't doubt the abilities of the new coach but i have my worries about how he will handle our WR's since they are already top-notch guys.
