1. I know there was some worry that maybe WVU might steal McCoy away from us, but he has confirmed after his trip to WVU that he is all LSU.

    FYI.
  2. So does anyone know what Les Miles policy is regarding players committed to LSU visiting other schools? Why does Luther Davis lose his offer, but McCoy does not?
  3. Good question. Did McCoy have a scholarship offer in hand?
  4. McCoy didn't lie about the trip to the media and apparently didn't lie about it to the LSU coaches. The coaches can't comment about recruits and McCoy is being private. Better for everybody.
  5. We have been through this already. If the player gives his verbal to LSU, and is upfront about other visits or contact with coaches, theres no issues. If they take unoffical visit to other schools, and lie about doing so. Then Miles will not allow that to happen. The main issue here is accountability and honesty, if a kid can not be...of all things Honest. Then his team policy revokes said scolarship offer.
  6. His visit WVU only confirmed in his mind that LSU was the place to be. I say let these kids make sure they are making the right choice for themselves. He went thru the process and communicated his intent to the coaching staff. Everything was on the up and up, and now we got a fine young man who plans to contribute to the LSU football program.

Since when did we get so many morality cops on this board?
  7. I think we are just experiencing a few aftershocks:grin: . No big deal.
  8. Exactly!!!! Well at least some people get it, I'm just suprised by the amount of posters not understanding that the lies is what did him in not the visit.
  9. Since LD made a mockery of LSU with his stupidity.

  10. Even some Bama fans get this. On Tidefans, Bamabuzzard, a regular poster here, explained this to the ones who were critical of the way "LSU treated LD". I don't know why our own fans don't get it. BB told them it was his lies that did him in at LSU, and hopefully he will learn from his mistakes, QUALIFY, and contribute at Bama.
