I think that he's certainly the best WR in the NFL. The best player in the NFL is probably Drew Brees. Now I understand how some may see this as a biased opinion....but I think that all things considered, that it is an accurate statement regardless of my New Orleans bias.
Calvin Johnson may certainly be the best in the NFL but I think you have to go with a QB because of the position. Rodgers or Brady would get a lot of votes but we saw last year with Flynn's big game that Rodgers is also helped by their system. I'll go with Brees also but will admit my extreme bias. I drafted Titus Young this year in hopes that Calvin Johnson will get even more double teams. Stafford also seems to be a good QB in getting Megatron the ball. If Stafford's injury problems resurface, does Megatron still put up huge numbers?
ummm thats up for discussion on the best player in the league. The best player ever is either Jerry Rice or Joe Montana
oops i meant to say best qb that ever played. best player ever is barry sanders. clearly rodgers is the best player in the league now, by a wide margin.
by a wide margin, dont think so, its pretty close between Megatron and Rodgers. Id put Barry Sanders behind Montana and Rice
Rodgers is good, but his scheme over inflates his worth. Like lsu99 said, look what happened when he was out and Matt Flynn went apeshit. Now Matt Flynn sucks at Seattle. People who don't know football will say things like that. MasterMind, you may be right on Megatron. He is VERY good.
aaron rodgers is the all time career NFL leader in passer rating. the system does help him, but also the fact that he can run full speed and still hit guys 3 yards down the field between the numbers with a rocket like nobody else. matt flynn is a decnt qb, but the packers had already clinched homefield and had nothing to lose, so they did thr kid a favor an showcased him, calling up passing plays that made him rich, because they like him. rodgers is not a product of the system. people who know football know that.
