Looks like TJ finally got a nice team together. A lot of people have been critical of him the last 3 years, but I've always thought he was a good coach & just a matter of time. Hickey seems to be a nice all around point guard. I hope they do well in the SEC & get a decent seed in the tourney...just to get in would be nice!
Well put. I always thought it was just a matter of time before TJ put together a good team. Excluding his first season, Johnson has not had enough depth to compete within the SEC, much less a larger stage. That said, Johnson's stated goal from the beginning has been to build a program that will compete in both the sec and ncaa tournaments year in and year out. If some recruiting chips fall our way in the next year or two we could be closer than we think.
