1. Calm down. Its not what you think. I'm talking about Coca Cola bottled in Mexico. They sell it in 12 ounce glass bottles in a lot of convenience stores. It seems to taste a good deal better than the Coke bottled in the USA. The label is printed in both English and Spanish and it lists sugar as one of the ingredients. On the label of American bottle Coke it doesn't say sugar at all. It lists high fructose corn syrup.

  6. Mesican coke is a good treat every now and then. Ain't a big soda drinker but when I do want one, I like it to be like the ones we had as kids.

  7. Yep, brings me back to the days when you out a few coins and had to grab the bottle by the cap and maybe 1/2" or so of the neck and drag it out of that hole. If you didn't have it good enough it wouldn't come out and you were SOL. Better get more coins. Today they have a robot hand it to and it cost you $1.50 or more. Pitiful
  8. My buddy has one of those old machines set up to take one quarter and is loaded with beer and sodas.

  9. There were still a lot of those 1940's era chest-type coke coolers in gas stations and cafes when I was a kid. They were not refrigerators, the bottles all stood in circulating chilled water. Its a wonder we did not all get legionnaires disease.

  10. Its not a wonder at all Amigo, kids were tough back then. We got dirty, drank from the garden hose, never sprayed anything with lysol, we rode on the back dash of the car and they didn't have seat belts anyway. It was a different world back then.
