1. Man Mike is living it large in his new environment. Now if only we could hook him up with a female tiger.
  2. Baby Mikes would be so pimp.
  3. the plan is to eventually add on another section. Must be nice to be Mike.
  4. I saw Mike V at a game at the PMAC in '92 when Shaq was still around...

He was pretty small and they had him on a leash in the PMAC...

I think I also saw him at the A&M FB game in Sept '90 on the leash on the sidelines.

My wife since '90 (Cali girl) went crazy for him and has loved Mike V ever since...
  5. Yeah, '92... I was 5. So when do I get to bring a Cali girl to see a baby Mike so she'll marry me?

Not to say that you used him to marry her, but I think I could use all the help I could get, and you said she loved him, so...
  6. I think they introduced Mike V at a bball game.

Who remembers that idiot from the Dominican that climbed in Mike's cage and they had to get Jose Vargas to get him out.
  7. It helps that my wife, like a lot of other girls, loves cats. :thumb:

My dad took me (I grew up in BR) to see Mike III in 1961 (I was 5).

He said "That's the LSU tiger! Are you an LSU tiger?"

Being 5 years old, I was hooked.

OF COURSE I'm a tiger. :geauxtige

    An  :tigerhead :thumb:

PS I think one of the things that always endeared my only brother to me was that his name is Mike, too... :hihi:
  8. Mike is so the MAN............ My Daughter loves him and goes just to see him. I really feel for him as the years go by. He is 16 now and the Ole Boy has done us well...........

LETS BEAT UP THE AU BAND.. hee haa:lol: :po:
  9. That was when I was at LSU. I was walking to my car when I saw people running past towards the Tiger cage. When I got down there, there was a crowd watching the whole thing. Lots of guys had their lawn chairs and ice chests full of beer.

That has to have been one of the most bizarre things I ever saw while at LSU.
  10. Sometime in the '80's, some Tulane students cut the lock on his old cage and Mike was discovered tipping over trash cans by Bernie Moore Track stadium in the early morning haze.

How'd you like to be the poor SOB walking on campus that day and seeing a 700+lbs. bengal tiger?!?!

It's a good thing that he stayed in an area without much "people traffic"...Had he seriously hurt anyone, we wouldn't have a live Bengal Tiger as a mascot today.
