Found this article from a website link provided by MiketheTiger69. Not sure if everyone has seen the article or not but here is the link, hopefully it is not old news. The article is dated April 6.

Hadn't read that one yet, thanks.

Only thing wrong with articles like these are they give the future Miles detractors some bad ammo to use when trying to plead their argument for why he is a lousy coach. :hihi:

you know, i'm beginning to think that miles' friendly personality may be a natural fit for a warm place like BTR. of course, that won't win him any football games, but it may coerce a lot of support.

Like the article said, Miles goes to more LSU events than what he contracturally has to--and that's a good sign! The more events he goes to, the more he's enjoying LSU, the harder he will work to stay.

As right as you are, there is also nothing wrong with having a coach that wins and can also be a people person. If you have to choose between the two take the winner everytime but it would be great if we have a coach that is able to do both.

Yes. Saban had his own private secret police called the Saban Staffel (SS). They were fanatically devoted to Nick and acted as a sort of Praetorian Guard. The SS bugged the locker room and informed on any player who would make a disparaging remark about the head coach when the player thought no coach was listening. Player disloyalty was dealt with harshly and immediately with endless punitive windsprints.

Now that the SS is with Saban in Miami, the LSU players are happy to be free of that totalitarian dictatorship.
