1. A freshman QB throwing fuckin darts to RBs in the 4th Qtr up by 56 points... your argument just fucking died.

This game was a complete and total dominance of another team. Yes it was only SHSU, but... almost everyone got their cherries busted, and gained not only combat experience, but a huge dose of confidence. 4 different Tigers scored their 1st TDs, and Brandon Harris threw for both his 1st passing TD and Rushing RD.

This defense will only get better, and tonight shut down a true high throwing offense that consist of not scrubs, but 4* from various other FBS schools like T Tech and IT.

This team looks hungry and aggressive... really good things are coming.

  2. I'm excited because this isn't usually how it goes when LSU plays weaker competition. And those other teams have been veteran teams, this team is young as the fuck and came out and dominated from the Dewayne Thomas interception.
  3. I was going to post this in another thread, but this one is as good as any since you alluded to it. I like the fact that Harris, Williams, Fournette, and Dupre all got their first TDs, even if it was against SHS. It also made me happy to see Fournette and Hilliard in the game at the same time. Pick your poison. (Any of you old timers remember the Raiders on Super Tecmo Bowl with Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen in the same backfield? Unstoppable). Lastly, the FINALLY threw the ball with Fournette in the game to keep the D honest and I liked that they're now letting #7 catch the ball on something other than a screen.

And on D, we pitched a shutout and even though it was against an inferior opponent, that offense game in avg something like 600 yards a game. The secondary was lights out again and I was very impressed with the game Danielle Hunter had. Just hope he keeps it up when SEC play opens up.

It may or may not be this year, but this team is going to be something special when these kids with immense talent get some game experience under their belts. The future is very bright for this bunch.
  4. Yes it is great to finally see a LSU team hungry to win... I love the aggression they play with. Haters can fuckin hate, but we very well could see a couple national titles with this team.

  5. And a year or two of Moffit Inc. A few of these freshmen are already big.

  6. I can't remember so many young players play so much under Miles against a lesser team (or at least not as well). A little bothered by Jennings kinda losing focus after getting up big, but he's young too. Pretty pleased at this point. I think cameron is making a huge difference.

  7. Agreed. This team does look very hungry and it will be great fun to watch them grow.
