After shoulder surgery you're advised not to do anything that would jar or strain the shoulder. Aggressive walking motion puts the arm in motions that would pull on the injury. Right now, this is a non-story. August 7 it becomes an issue.
A shorter RO played at about 265, correct? It didn't hurt him one bit. It helped him absorb those hits. Just like RO, JR is not a "mobile" QB.......
I'm not insinuating anyone here has, I'm just hoping to head any potential bashing off at the gate..we'll have enough qb controversy this year as it is I'm afraid.
Unlike "Ro" JaMarcus isn't used to being that weight... I dont think JaMarcus can lose 15-20 lbs in a week... THAT is why it is an issue, for those of you who said it was a non issue
either was Ro until he tore that acl....... Most athletes (even QB's or other skill position players gain weight in college) It's no big deal. He'll be ready to go. Saban was pissed about Marcus Spears weight last year when they reported back for the fall...... It kills you that RP won't just walk right in and start. Go ahead and admit it, you would ....... :dis: :nope:
Wow it takes a real brave man to say something like that behind a computer huh mud-bug? I am a Tiger fan! I am all for Russell winning the Heisman if he wants to, but when I hear THE COACH... not a fan, not a talk show host, but THE COACH say that he is displeased with something about the QB, I get concerned... BTW... is it wrong for me to root for my friend?
