Anyone watching the Cubbies meltdown? Happened last inning, but was too lazy to post about it at the time (i've since caught my second wind).
I wasn't aware we didn't have a postseason thread. We usually have a pretty good discussion going. How about Sabathia stinking up the joint when post-season rolls around? That might knock a few mill off the contract in the offseason. Guy is tremendous from game 1-162. After that, not so much. Just not the go to guy you need in the post season. Kinda sad.
Zambrano = overrated I really thought this was the Cubs year to at least make it to the world series, but damn they are already one and done.
My newly adopted Rays are gonna win it all. They never get phased when they are down, just like today when Shields gave up the 3 run bomb early. Rays = resiliency. Longoria = beast.
Angels are one and done again as well. How about Vlad hitting under the Mendoza line for his post-season career? Pretty pathetic.
