1. AL East: Yankees
AL Central: White Sox (I think Peavy has a good year)
AL West: Mariners (it's a sad division. Angels let half their team leave and could still win it).
AL Wild Card: Boston (decent pitching staff they have there)

AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera (sober Cabrera might be a scary thing to pitch to)
AL Cy Young: Sabathia (Greinke is better IMO, but he won't get the wins)
AL ROY: Scott Sizemore (position player with the best opportunity)

NL East: Phillies (hard to pick anyone else)
NL Central: Cardinals (may depend on Carpenter staying healthy)
NL West: Giants (I like what they're doing there in SF--insert gay joke--but Dodgers are really the favorite)
NL Wild Card: Reds (I've been singing the Reds praises for a few years now, so they owe me one)

NL MVP: Anyone other than Pujols and you're just being a contrarian
    NL Cy Young: Haren
NL ROY: Heyward (see NL MVP comment)
  2. AL East: Red Sox (Yankees team airplane goes down in Atlantic Ocean, but burst into flames before it hits the water)

    Everything else really doesn't matter.

open fire SF, and other spankee fans.
  3. We like to get the last laugh.
  4. AL East: Yankees
    AL Central: Tigers
    AL West: Mariners

    AL Wildcard: BoSox

    NL East: Phillies
    NL Central: Cubs
    NL West: Giants

    NL Wildcard: Braves
  5. AL East: Yanks
AL Central: Royals (don't laugh, i think they'll compete)
    AL West: Anaheim

    Wild Card: Boston

    NL East: Phillies
    NL Central: Cards
    NL West: Giants

    Wild Card: Dodgers
  6. Needed a little time to do some research for this one:

AL MVP: Ichiro - I think people will pay attention to him a lot more if the M's are winning ball games (which I suspect they will this year).

Wild Card: Miguel Cabrera - If he has his head right, there is no better hitter in baseball.

AL Cy Young: CC Sabathia - Dude is so good.

Wild Card: Cliff Lee - Pretty big park for him to deal with and some bad hitting clubs in his division to feast on.

NL MVP: Pujols - He is hands-down the best player. Would take an injury or something mega fishy to happen to cost him that award.

Wildcard: Hanley Ramirez - not so much a wild card, because he is a proven player, but if the Marlins win some games, people will realize how good this kid is.

NL Cy Young: Roy Halladay - It's hard to envision this one not working out. If he was a beast in the AL East, why would he not feast on the national league with that pitcher's spot at his disposal?

Wildcard: Jair Jurrijens - I might be a homer, but if this kid pitches the way he did the entire past 2 seasons and actually gets some run support, he will easily be a 20-game winner.
  7. I just can't wait to see what the under is on Cubs wins for the season. Took the book to the woodshed on this one last year. I doubt they will be silly enough to jack it up to the mid 90's again. If they do I'm all over it.
  8. Astro's beat the Yank's in 5 to win the World Series!!! You read it here first.

(Yes this is a joke, but since I have Astro's tickets, I tend to be a little optimistic in spring)
  9. OPENING DAY!!!!

felt like it was never gonna get here
  10. do you now feel like it's never going to end?
