    Fascinating find. Nice job Mac.

    No mention of the historic Quarter and jazz clubs is a lamentable oversight.

    No mention of Bourbon Street or scrip(sic) clubs is a result of the more genteel social mores of the day.

    They had a good time, they just didn't publicize it or want it publicized.

    Color film from the early 40's is a real bonus, it was very rare back then.

    The sad thing about watching that is after every fact you can add, "but not so much anymore," and be completely right.

    Great find. New Orleans, one of the most progressive cities in the United States and 4th largest city in land mass. :shock:
