1. With losses by UGA, Wisky, Virginia..... where do you see the tigers... does Miami jump us for beating Va ????

I think we should be about 13
  2. 13's a bit generous

Well, Wis. was ranked #4, so I think the most they'll drop is 10, or 11. Miami jumps us I think, but West Virginia drops below us. Georgia drops to 12 or 13, if that. I think we move up to the 14 in the coaches, 15 or so in Associated Press.

Oh yeah, and you don't have to wait till Monday for the polls- they are usually published around 3:00 (Est) Sunday...only the BCS is released Monday.
  3. 11-13
  4. there is no reason Miami would jump us. we should be 13. Georgia and Wisconsin will not drop that much.
  5. Hopefully we can jump an idle Tenneessee
  6. AP doesnt like us so I say they stick us at 15, ESPN poll I think we may get to 13
  7. I'll go out and say:

    1. USC
    2. Oklahoma :nope: (should be Auburn actually)
    3. Auburn
    4. Cal
    5. Texas
    6. Utah
    7. Michigan
    8. Florida St.
    9. UGA
    10. Louisville
    11. Wisconsin
    12. Boise St.
    13.
    14. Virginia Tech
    15. Miami
    16. West Virginia
    17. BC
    18. Virginia
    19. Iowa
    20. Tenneessee

It'll be interesting to see where BC fits in all of this. Since they took care of WVU, BC holds the inside track on the Big East title and a BCS bid. Now, that's a situation that would indicate substantial jumps in the polls for BC because I don't think the BCS would like to see a participant ranked less than top-10. BC has Temple and Syracuse left to play. Should they win out, don't be surprised to see at least a 5-spot jump with each win.

As far as we're concerned, we win out, and I'd expect us to be able to finish the season around 9, 10 or 11th.
  8. I thought with a very good game tonight that LSU would jump both Tennessee and VTech in the Coaches poll, to even us up with where we are in the Coaches. I am not sure how the pollsters will view the game tonight. LSU's offense was non-existent for 3 quarters. The defense may have played their best game of the year. The offense did show signs of life in the 4th quarter.

The best possible is #12 in both polls with Miami at #13 and Wisconsin at #14. That is in a perfect world, of course.

I am hoping for #13 in both polls, but I think Miami will jump us and we end up right behind them at #14.

So I would guess #14 in both, but don't be surprised if we are still 1 or 2 spots behind in the coaches poll at #15/#16.

  10. You have wisky that high even though they got blown away by an unranked team and their vaunted defense got 423 rushing yards against it ??? You may be right but I think they should be ranked a little lower, still above us but maybe 12 to 13
